Thank heavens for the minor TV channels today. Every single one of the major ones is covering the same subject.

I'm not unsympathetic, but it is a bit over the top, isn't it?

Absolutely ridiculous that BBC1 and 2 are covering it on both channels.

It’s all local radio stations as well. Radio Nan Gaidheal too.
At least there’s always the red button. Presumably that’s sufficiently “under the carpet”

This is nothing new, I remember settling down one Friday evening to watch TV when they announced the assassination of President Kennedy. For the rest of the evening the only thing to watch was a man playing classical music on the piano.
