also where is it supposed to be set? They either have amazing mobility, or a LOT of corruption in a small area
It isn't really set anywhere, though viewers of course have picked up on various landmarks and clues through the series from the filming locations.

It did start off a bit slow, but it's gradually working up to some exciting, on the edge of your seat viewing!
thanks mamya, i'd always assumed south of England, but that woman came from Liverpool in last week's episode, and he drove to Liverpool to see her this week
For some reason I always though it was set in the West Midlands. Don't know why though!
bednobs //and I think wotserface is undercover undercover in MIT//
are you one of the script writers? :-)
Central Police is the fictional force featured in the BBC series Line of Duty. The exact jurisdiction of the force is unknown but it is implied to cover the city of Birmingham. The jurisdiction neighbours that of the fictional force East Midlands Constabulary, occasionally referred to as "East Mids".
// They either have amazing mobility, or a LOT of corruption in a small area//

Jed M was working in Brum when the West Mids police scandal was in full swing. CC Dear disbanded the serious crime sqad but didnt fire them

(it was Mark in London: a police force should arrest more criminals than it employs...
Back in west mids, Deer was roused to action where video evidence was destoryed by er recording an episode of Crossroads over it. He kinda lost his sense of humour over that one)
I noticed the length of Adrian Dunbar's hair at the back kept changing. Very distracting, and it made me keep looking for other continuity errors: what was pre- and post- lockdown break.
The cruel critics, with bile and battery acid in their pens
are calling it " Decline of Duty"
As long as they stop short of Line Of Doody.
hi Doug
or line of Boodie - with Linda Lovelace - beating the met? licking the met? caning the met?
