This is the thread that shocked the world! And other places too!
Or it will be.
Or it might be.
Or it could be.
So what is shocking?
Well, I haven't had a haircut for, (?), years, and my locks are now shoulder length.
Mrs T suggested I get a trim, whilst I was going to get my granddaughter to dye it blue.
So what are you doing/done that is shocking?

Believing in God...
joined others in the park, shocking amount of people out and about today, laughing and joking, really and truly, easing lockdown, what lockdown....
I'm sitting here not looking forward to a dental appointment I have early this afternoon.
It's shocking that I am still blowing my fringe away from my eyes rather than trimming it.

Shocking that I kicked the door and swore when I banged my elbow on it.

Slightly shocking that I may be having the same thing for my evening meal for the third day running.

Just a normal sort of day here.
The one good thing with having curly hair is you can chop yourself. My OH won't let me cut his though :-)

I've done nothing shocking.
HAIR - a distant memory!
For some reason I forgot to add to my post at 1535 that it will be shocking when I get the bill from the dentist even though I have a dental-plan that covers 70% of it.
I haven't had a hair cut since November, so my Woody Allen lookalike career is back on track - still remarkably short on bookings, but I live in hope.

When I was in my late twenties, I grew my curls, and when stretched out, they came past my shoulders, and when curled, were well past my collar.

Now most of them have vanished with age, but as always, the back and sides are still in place - but now they have sprouted a couple of inches outwards, and the stopped.

Never mind - 12 April, just after lunch, a Number Three at the barber's - counting the days!!!

It will be shocking when we see the queue at the barbers!
If I do go, it will be one cutting and two bagging!
When your barbers are allowed to open there are certainly going to be a lot of people attending barbecues.

What is shocking for me is that now I am allowed out, I've been in all day!
i tasted some much needed sunshine, hooray
Mr puzz also now has shoulder length hair, he is quite proud of it. Not sure what will happen when the barbers reopen
I shall probably have a chat with my old school chum Boris before dinner - he usually phones me to hear my opinion on delicate matters, - then I'll spend half an hour or so reading Breitbart UK before settling down to finish Kant's Critique of Pure Reason then, say my prayers & hit the sack.
sanmac 15.35 - SNAP! I spent a not very pleasant 50 mins. in the dentist's chair from 2.00 p.m. today. :(

Otherwise, drove over to my granddaughter's on her 10th birthday with a special birthday present. She'd been really, really trying to learn all her times-tables and I'd been helping her every week when I collected them from school, before I had to stop. She was also desperate to reach 'fountain pen' status and I promised that if she could say all her tables to me then I would buy her the prettiest one I could find.

Well, she did it! Hesitantly at times and over the phone (with a bit of frantic mental adding-up). Unfortunately this was only 2 days before her birthday. No way would I disappoint that child and break my word so I visited a local stationers (open because it sold newspapers) and drove 48 miles each way to deliver it on the big day. I didn't go into the house - but it did break rules and I don't care and I'd do it again.
