If a person does the above and ambulance is sent for, would the police be called right away as well. Person being ok

I don't think it's against the law anymore, jj. Could be wrong. Someone will soon tell us.

obviously the person is not ok and it will depend on circumstances if the police are called often the police attend the call for help before the ambulance or the police will actually call the ambulance if the person is still upset
I would think the police would attend as a matter of course, if only to rule out foul play.
