'Sky News understands that the word "knowingly" was not included in the text agreed by the committee.

Its members decided by a majority that it was misled by evidence submitted to them by the first minister.'

Perhaps we should wait for the report to be published in the next few days to read what all was decided?

Looks like all she has to do is say that she didn't know what she was doing ... after all this time telling us that she was the only one who what she was doing. Sounds a bit Scottish to me, but I can believe her and call her a liar at the same time and be correct both times.
From the Scottish Ministerial Code,

"It is of paramount importance that Ministers give accurate and truthful information to the Parliament, correcting any inadvertent error at the earliest opportunity. Ministers who knowingly mislead the Parliament will be expected to offer their resignation to the First Minister;"

The important word there is, "knowingly" and that word, it is claimed, is missing from the outcome.
On the eve of independence, Salmond and Sturgeon realised what an almighty foo it would be for Scotland, and, in a secret deal between themselves, concocted an amazingly intricate and obscure set of circumstances to make sure it never happened on their watch ...

... is my completely unsubstantiated conspiracy theory.
Why are people so predictable? Right wing brexit equals anti Sturgeon and anti women demonstrators. Remainers (like me) equals pro-women and anti Trump. There must be deep underlying traits that determine these things.

Hi, Roy. Missed you!
Not many spot my claptrap, so it's nice to have a claptrap fan.
She didn’t mislead Parliament, she misled a Committee.

The committee is packed with the SNPs opponents, so it is no surprise that they didn’t believe her.

Deeply damaging to the SNP but she will not resign or be removed.

Alex Salmond referred a lot to a 'search warrant' which I thought a bit cutesy-wootsy at the time. but yes there seems to have been one - one dept applied to a judge to search another dept office.
The head honcho civil servant

yikes well that is OK then

//She didn’t mislead Parliament, she misled a Committee.//

Er...no:

"A Scottish parliamentary committee has concluded that First Minister Nicola Sturgeon misled parliament."

She may have misled the committee when explaining why she didn't mislead Parliament. But if so, the committee saw through that when reaching the decision that they did.
//Sky News understands that the word "knowingly" was not included in the text agreed by the committee.//
Unfortunately, she’ll survive as she suits the mood of Scottish politics at the moment. Cometh the hour, cometh the excuse for a politician.
she will pull the Shaggy Defence.
her party will support her.
that will be an end to the matter.

I think she'll survive because as she continues to prove... she doesn't respect the result of a vote.
