My daughter just told me she's been taken off FB for 30 days. Her account has disappeared. She's wondering if she'd been hacked? I told her to get in touch with FB, which she did, and they wanted her ID.
Has this happened to any of you?

No, seems very odd Patsy
How did she find out it was for 30 days? Was there a message?

She must have got message. The explanation was very brief, as she's trying to sort it. She feels upset and frustrated.

I doubt that the account has been hacked though. Facebook is notorious for applying sanctions to users without any apparent reason and equally notorious for being totally unhelpful when people try to find out why. My account was suspended 20 minutes after I joined and I hadn't even posted anything! (I'd simply been looking at another member's photos, at their invitation). Umpteen emails to Facebook, together with sending them loads of ID, never got any response at all. I'm still suspended, several years later!
I got into trouble on FB, something about having the words Shoot &Trump in the same sentence. I have a big WARNING sign warning me about my future behaviour. They make the rules and they police the rules - I gave up trying to contact them.

Good luck to your daughter.

Thanks Buen, I've just sent daughter that link.

Wolf, that's awful!
It's getting ridiculous.
She hasn't said anything controversial, or flouted any rules, ( as far as she knows).
She still trying to get it sorted. Not very hopeful...
I was on FB , I have a lot of cat pages that I look at, on one photo I wrote ,"nice pussy ", 5mts later i was suspended, but because it was my first offence they let me off !
No, but it is not unusual for FB to ask for proof of ID
^ i'm surprised you got away with 'nice pussy' on ab . . .

Thanks for your replies.
My daughter sent her ID and told them she's worried she could have been hacked. Still haven't heard anything back. She has been selling quite a bit of children's clothes and toys lately. My son said it could be that??
