No Power To Monitor After System Restore

i have just done a system restore on my windows 10 desk top.it all went well until i rebooted my computer .now i just get a single bleep but no power to my monitor both fans inside are working
i have swapped the cable from the pc to the screen taken all removable parts inside the pc and re-seated them carefully and cleaned it throughout i have changed the 3v battery but no avail
has anybody got any ideas what to try next

I have change both monitor and cable the monitor is switched on at power point both wall and switch then when the pc is turned on there is nothing going to the monitor it remains dormant.Both the monitor and cable work fine on my daughters pc .As I have said it switches on then gives a single bleep it seems as if goes straight into hibernation
