For some reason I'm suddenly unable to play anything from ITV hub or More4 on my desktop. There's no option to sign in, which I never had to do anyway. Haven't used it for a couple of weeks, but that's never been a problem before. BBC iplayer is fine.

If you are trying to access them through a browser, try a different one. If you are using apps, uninstall and reinstall
I tried it on my computer and it complained because I had an ad-blocker installed so I tried a different browser and it worked OK.

Thanks. I had a quick look, but I need to update Firefox so will try later. I don't have an ad locker.

Try clearing your browser's cache:

PS: I promoted Firefox for well over a decade here (and I still use it for certain purposes) but I now prefer Slimjet. It might be worth you giving it a try:

I usually use Chrome, Buenchico, but thought I'd try the earlier suggestions. My IE is years out of date, I never use that. I haven't heard of Slimjet. Is it very different?
The latest version of Edge, Chrome and Slimjet are all based around the same 'developer-level' browser (which is called Chromium). So they all have certain similarities.

However, since Chrome is a Google product, it tries to tie you to Google's own services and won't, for example, allow you to install an extension to download and save YouTube videos (because YouTube is owned by Google).

Similarly, because Edge is a Microsoft product, it wants you to do everything through Microsoft's own services, such as using Bing as its preferred search engine.

Slimjet is independent and therefore doesn't try to tie you into anything. (You can still use Chrome extensions with it if you want to but without doing everything through Google). It blocks ads by default, meaning that pages load much faster. (Although you can, of course, turn the adblocker off for certain sites if, say, you want to keep AB's beloved Editor happy!). It comes with lots of useful tools, such as a built-in downloader for YouTube videos, but it isn't hard to get to grips with.

If you do decide to give Slimjet a go, you'll find that it opens with various 'useful' bookmarks, etc, pre-loaded but it only takes a few moments to 'tidy it up', so that it meets your individual requirements. (See my post at 2049 here to see how to get Slimjet looking exactly the way you want: https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Technology/Question1719090-2.html )

Thank you. I'll try it when I'm feeling brave. It's time I stopped being a stick-in-the- mud. Who says people can't change when they're 77?!
I'm not exactly a spring chicken myself, Tearinghair. I'll be 68 next month ;-)

Ah, but you're a computer expert. I'm ok as long as there's no problem that can't be solved by turning off and on again. I can usually email my son who works for Apple in California, but the 8 hour difference can be a problem.
