Ithought you had to copy,paste and muck around to get someone to a site. Just told someone I couldn`t do it ,put in the http thingy and its turned red

That's what is supposed to happen. You type it as a link. add a space, and it becomes clickable.

However, it is BEST to muck around with copy and paste as you put it, because that way there will be no errors in the address which you may have if you type.

Exactly. It also erases the mistakes concerning capital O's and the zero.
