I have been asked to cut some relatives' hair which I used to do on brothers - they came up every month and I would have cut their hairs

Years ago I did do a course of hairdressing cutting and then I bought good scissors.

I need good scissors now but can't remember what size to go for they come in sort 4.5 5.5 etc.

Anybody advise please and thanks

PS A terrible disaster did happen years ago, my mother asked me to give her a Mia Farrow cut which I did - well she didn't speak to me for months cos she said "You didn't leave me like an oul lady but you left me like an oul man". She had to wear a scarf for yonks. I thought it would never grow. Well you did ask Mother LOL

I like to use small scissors mine are about 6 inches maybe slightly less. Not a hairdressing one but really sharp.

I got a pair around 6" stainless steel, from local pharmacy, perfect for clipping chickens wings so the couldn't fly over wall, just around in circles, only one wing clipped.
