Watched the first episode last night and with all the time jumps and so many characters I couldn't grasp the plot.
Is it worth continuing with?

yes ,we binged watched it .
Definitely, and definitely again - one of the best dramas of recent times and the acting from Jenna Coleman is superb.....
i thought it was an excellent series

I was shocked to see Queen Victoria smoking :D

Will keep at it then, I like the music and the fashions
Yes, definitely. I binged it as well.
I gave up after 2 episodes because of all the flashbacks. Then i returned to it and really enjoyed the entire series.
know you were joking barry but rumour has it that she smoked weed :-)
I suppose it might be worth a perseverance, compared to other TV presentations.
I found it predictable and felt that more could have been made of the murders.......a little eroticism, considering it was the Far East.
It was OK....nothing more or less.

Nothing would surprise me about Victoria, ael :) She had voracious appetities
Barry - what would you do if you saw Her Maj with a tab then, she used to smoke and her sister, well, she kept Philip Morris in business single-handedly - 60-80 extra strong Chesterfield and a partial liking for the amber Scottish liquid as well....

There is more than enough eroticism in my life, I'm not a voyeur and don't it on my tv, thanks, Sqad

DTC, everyone smoked back in the day
Well then barry, you will enjoy it.
when Princess Margaret popped her clogs, she was cremated at Slough (a good trivial pursuits/quiz question being who was the last royal to be burnt).....in true P-Eye tradition, they had a b&w photo of the crem inside the cover, the chimney buble saying 'one last smoke' and the building's 'it's what she would have wanted.'
DTC, do you honestly believe Maggie actually paid for her coffin nails? Every time she lit one up it was free advertising for the tobacco industry.
Barry I would say Yes, go with it. It is based on a true story and he is the most awful awful man.
