The Times reports that he bought shares for £250 000 at 1p each in Cellular Goods at the end of January. They were sold at 5p before an IPO yesterday and are now worth 19p .
How come he gets £250 000 offered for 1p a pop when Joe Public got a maximum of £500 and then 2.85% to a maximum allocation of £2500 at 5p a pop. I'd be rich too if I got opportunities like that.

you are rich already if you could have afforded £250 000 to buy shares
ps how do you know his financial dealings?
I don't know a definitive answer, but I suspect he did not personally buy the shares, more likely to be an offshore company that he has interests in or owns.
i just looked at the story - he was a backer/investor before it started trading. I know nothing about the stock market, but isn't that different?
Man United, Real Magrid... I think he married a Posh bird as well. He sure doesn't need the money.
Was he a backer of the company?
bednobs I think if it's a limited company, shareholders names are in the public domain.
Arksided Victories stage name posh spice, did not reflect her in real life lol
I know ;-)
