Hi Sqad. You know that weird thumping I heard in my eardrum the other day? It seems to have disappeared. I`m hoping it stays that way. Thanks for your advice.

No problems 237, thank you for the feedback.
Can't guarantee that it won't return at some stage -;.)

I was telling my best friend about it and she said her sister had the same thing recently and it went away in a few days. When I think back, I had a strange pain in that area a day or two before the thumping noise started. It wasn't ear ache but I was definitely aware that something wasn't right. Anyway, I assumed the pain and thumping might have been caused by an inflamed nerve or something so I threw a few ipbuprofen down my throat to get rid of the inflammation and that was the end of the problem. Very strange.
Really lol.

Here's another interesting thing Sqad. I have been convinced that I have a slightly underactive thyroid for years. I have posted on here about it. Anyway, the other week I decided to go to a private hospital and see and Endocrinologist. I was fed up with the NHS only testing my TSH and not the T4. My TSH was 3.9 and my T4 was 14 so I have been put on 50 mcg of Levothyroxine and I feel a bit better already.
just watch your levels, 237, there have been a couple of times when I diagnosed (from a distance) that my mother had moved from hypo to hyper....I'm not a doctor but I can read a good doctor's guidebook.
Not a medical condition, the trapped spider made its escape ;-)
Both of those figures are normal.
Interesting, you haven't mentioned you T3 level which if low would raise an interesting medical discussion.
The dose of thyroxine that you have been prescribed is a piffling dose, but if you feel better, then that is the bottom line.
