When you are a woman, if you are desperate to wee, if you sit down you can make the sensation go away. Can men do that too?

I can only speak for this man.....but yes,I can.
I can’t do that, when I need to go I need to go. I’ve never heard of sitting down stopping the sensation.
Put the other way round, when you stand up it gets worse.
I asked my urologist why was that & he simply said "the weight".
I didn't ask any further.
I blame mothers for men's lack of bladder control. When little boys need to go, mothers encourage them to whip it out anywhere and wee at will. Little girls are told to wait - very rare to see a mother suspending a girl over the gutter, pants round ankles.

it's because they leave it to the dads barry!
I sometimes find myself thinking I need to go for a wee soon and deciding, yes I'll do so-and-so on the way there. Then once I've done so-and-so, followed by getting side tracked by a thought and on to somewhere entirely different, quite a bit later I suddenly realise, drat, completely forgot to have a wee. It is very, very rare for me to need to with any great urgency and I tend to fit the act in through the course of the day. I do not aim to drink X litres of water in a day and that may explain this - nor do I drink tea or coffee (vile, both of them although I quite like the smell of beans roasting and also genuine coffee being made).
It goes when I'm sat on the toilet!
