My hair is falling out and growing right back in, my doctor said it must be stress or vitamin deficiency. I take vitamins and don't feel stressed. I am a thirty year old female. Why is this happening?

Hi williaam dont know the cause of your hair loss but i too lost lots of hair with a thyroid problem and found that if i took a good multi vitamin and kelp tablets (FULL OF IRODINE )for thicker hair isaw a real improvment good luck
my 18 year old son has alopecia and one of the things he was tested for was a zinc deficiency, but it is just one of those things, he was advised to eat lots of things with gelatine in it to promote hair regrowth e.g wine gums, fruit gums, jelly etc, you can even get vegetarian gelatine! I don't know if it has helped or not, but his hair is gradually beginning to grow back, but as it wasn't total alopecia it was due to grow back anyway. Anything is worth a try
