Serious question: do you think that people will walk on Mars in your lifetime?
Perhaps not in mine Jim (I am 73) But in 20 years time or less I see no reason why not.
I reckon in the next decade so yes.
Even if it's a one-way trip?
Landing on the surface safely is the trick bit Jim. Getting off again is relatively straight forward. The gravity on Mars is only about 38% of Earth's and of course atmosphere that is less of a drag. (that was a bit 60s)
They go all that way and only put a black and white film in the camera.
