I have recently lost two crowns which cannot be replaced, so I have had a consultation for two implants.

The cost I have been quoted including extraction of existing roots, checks and the actual procedure, is almost £5,000 for the two teeth.

I have no idea if that is expensive or not - does anyone have experience in this area and can advise me?

Thanks.

That price sounds about right to me .... it's roughly £2k per tooth, but that's a very rough guidance. Here's my experience of implants, starting with the day I had implants inserted into my jawbone: https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/ChatterBank/Question1539665.html ... and the day I had the final implants fitted:...
