Mamy; if you know about corporation pop, then you're OK :-))
My Black Peas were consumed either at Bolton Fair sat by a brazier in the tent or at home.
Mamy; you're a Boltonian? (or Notlob, as Monty Python had it - "It's a palindrome"!) We have a neighbour in France who comes from Bolton - he remembers Haigh Hall.
Mamy, did you make your own black peas? The ones at the fair were really special; served in a chipped mug with an alloy spoon in a tent - vinegary and peppery and sludgy at the bottom if you were lucky.
It's a word read backwards, definitely not a palindrome.
cashier, I know; that was what was funny!
Yes, I make my own too.

Don't apologise Mamy - enjoyed the "chat"! Sam - good suggestion but just not sure.
Hazlinny; sorry to have diverted from the thread - it was Mamy's fault.
I'll take the blame.

Oh, now I liked Sam's suggestion, will keep thinking.
