Hi all, long time no speaky! Can anyone advise my daughter what are the wooden biscuits for in the packaging of an art canvas. It's a pack of 3 different sized canvases from B&M with a pack of 8 small, what look like, Carpenter's biscuits in a little plastic seal top bag.

These don't sound exactly as you describe but may get the ball rolling.

Nice to see you back.

There should be slots in the corners of the wooden stretchers to which the canvas is attached.
The wafers go into these as the tension of the canvas will alter as it is used and with temperature etc.
A gentle tap on the wafers with a hammer or mallet will re-tension the canvas as the wafer slides into the slot.
Oh, so my idea was correct and not simply a wild guess, ta.
