From what I can see, nothing will stop this virus. It's finding the weakest and most vulnerable and it will continue to do so. Johnson seems to be taking the stance that he will continue to act like King Canute, then go home and put his Emperors' New Clothes on. Let's see what he says when the figures hit 200,000 in short time.

Yes your solution seemed to be create more hospital wards, recruit loads more NHS staff and remove restrictions therefore filling the new wards. Might help the economy and let you enjoy a pint in the clubhouse but can you explain why with more infections there'd be less deaths. More likely the deaths would hit 200000 a lot quicker
