David Small, I wondered about that, too. Every time I fly, I get a cold or a chest infection, it's spoilt many a holiday so I holiday at home these days. I've always blamed the recirculated air carrying germs, whether that is right or not I don't know

I hope all the other patients have families more public spirited than the Moore family and don't now expect the same concessions.

If they are all to be given the same concessions as the Moore family, it will be another step backwards in controlling the virus.
Gness, it will be no comfort to you at all, but things do seem to have changed over the months. The local care homes here, now do have a separate room to allow families in to visit relatives y end-of-life. They didn't originally, so many many missed out as well. But over time, places are trying to adjust to it.
Having said that- that isn't necessarily with a covid diagnosis...
According to the Mail today, he did indeed catch it in hospital!
