Sim Card

I've jsut bought my OH a mobile phone. Now I need a SIM card. And presumably a telephone number. If I get a SIM card from say Giffgaff (looks best for very occasional use - he'll only use it to get text messages from his bank and what'sapp from his children, and very occasionally outside - will it come with a phone number? Or will the phone?

Very pleased with Giff-gaff. the Sim card arived following day and was very easy to set up. I have a Non-contract pay as you go account. they even give you £5 to begin with.
