We used to build "snow trains", they were about 2-3 feet high...then sit on them and get damp bottoms. Then did snow angels, and got fully wet.

I remember 1963 we dug a tunnel from the back door into the garden so the dog could get out, it was over 3ft thick, the dog was a Springer collie cross who didn't like the cold
