Is there really anything more tedious than wonderful actors who are very very well past their past work, boring people about tales of behaving like stupid adolescents when they were drunk?

Why do people think 'hellraisers' are something special?

There's even a documentary about them!

I love tales of drunkenness.
Great times, missing them so much.

Yes, absolutely certainly.

Thinking about it, you're absolutely right.

Since I posted this, I've already thought of a dozen things that are more tedious!!!!!
I've actually got drunk with the man showing in the vid.
Don't know. Never heard of - never took much notice of - any one of them. Sounds terribly boring. Against that, I could say that more boring is something like 'Strictly'.

'Hellraisers' used to be quite interesting people and senior actors - people like Burton, Richard Harris - oh, and Jeffrey Bernard (was at school with OH and got expelled, so setting the trend of his life). Nowadays it seems to be anyone who was a bit of an idiot in late teenage years - usually best to draw a veil!

'Why do people think they are something special?'. Boredom, lack of intellectual stimulus, shallow, screen-led lives? Best I can do - but 'Apres nous le deluge' if this carries on as mainstream culture.
