Just got washing in and it feels cold so not sure if it is dry or not. Better than it was though.
Feels very chilly out there and we could easily have a frost tonight. Sky clear and no clouds.

Hope everyone is keeping well and warm. Or those unwell, Minty, Boaty, TL, are keeping well and being cared for.

in my experience washing is never dry outside at the time of year. Hang it up near the boiler or radiators.
Had a lazy but warm day , writing another few pages of my book and coffeeing, not a bad day at all
Overnight temperatures across the country will generally fall to between -3C and -5C tonight, so get your long johns on everyone ;-)
Snow on its way for tomorrow morning.

Quite some years since I saw snow Webbo. Maybe a thick frost will have to do.

Just checked weather and may go down to zero but some rain is also forecast so nothing exciting.
I walked to Aldi this afternoon for essential beer. And got caught in a blizzard on my return.

Wow. Absolutely still out there at the moment Webbo. Not a sign of movement anywhere.
I had 2 lovely walks today...love it when the sun is so bright I can't see anything. And the sun was streaming in my west facing lounge window late afternoon. Rain due overnight, but another sunny cold day tomorrow.
finally had that coffee out, the weather was a bit nippy round the ears, but i was reasonably well wrapped up warm

Glad you enjoyed emmie. a nice memory for the next few days.

lovely walks like that pasta. my most exciting action today was pegging out washing and then getting it in. Must do something about washing car as it is looking rank.
We're supposed to get a bit of snow tonight (that's according to the BBC though, who tend to be wrong) I hope we do as I like snow (as long as it doesn't affect my work)
I like the way frozen towels stand up stiffly, then gradually collapse in a warmed room.
I haven’t put washing out on the line for many years. I got cold putting it out and cold bringing it in, and often it wasn’t dry. Got a tumble dryer - best thing I’ve ever bought. Hardly any ironing needed and all put away in no time. I know people say they are expensive to run, but I’ve not found it so.
I went out at around 7 PM, already a heavy frost.

I've got a tumble dryer for emergencies but there is so much can't be dried that way and it must be a habit thing but I do prefer pegging out. Each to his own I think.
It smells so nice when it's been hung outside. I miss that.
Ladyj - everything goes in the dryer, except for my bra! Sorry, too much info!
I don’t wear wool (it itches) and everything else is ok.
Same with washing Pasta... ;-)
