I bought a HP printer and, after being initially very pleased- I have had nothing but trouble despite the help offered
I now want to contact them to demand either a full refund or a replacement. Unfortunately it seems impossible to get past the virtual assistant with the set answers
Has anyone a contact address?

Where did you buy it from? If you didn't buy it direct from HP you need to contact the retailer
Your claim is with the retailer unless you purchased it direct from HP. You have a better claim if you paid by credit card and especially if it is under 6 months old.

It was ordered on the 15 July last summer but it’s still under warranty
