Saturday Postal Service May Be Scrapped

For letters, anyway, the Royal Mail wants to deliver parcels only on Saturdays. That would suit me just fine. Official letters that need dealing with always seem to arrive on a Saturday when the offices are closed, leaving me stew over the weekend.

Lots of delays now in some parts of the country due to postmen having to isolate .

I've also heard that some sorting offices are running with reduced staff levels because they have to social distance and cannot stand next to each other while sorting.

How true this is, I've no idea.
