I'm trying to decide which branch to drive to myself, from my home here in Suffolk. Should it be the one in Penzance, perhaps, or the one in Elgin? They're both equally logical choices, or so it seems ;-)

Andres, no they can't and I like them as well. I particularly like the banana milkshake also.
I love the milkshake. It's like eating pudding with your dinner.

Their coffee is pretty good too.
If you put the milkshake in the freezer it becomes like ice cream
Perhaps “I’m here for a McDonald” is euphemism similar to “I’m here walking my dog”.

No one drives 100 miles for cr@p food. So you get nabbed in a dark car park, and you’ve not brought you pooch, so you tell the cops, you were hungry.
i remember when i visited the states, we went to a whitecastle burger joint, i thought they were great, had bk and maccied's bk are flamed grilled so i thought they tasted a bit better, but it is what it is, homemade ones are superior, real cheese bacon better buns etc.
I really dislike beef burgers and never cook them, I do love a tasty veggie burger though, especially a spicy one.
However, I absolutely love a Big Mac, can’t remember the last time I had one. And now I want one!!
I agree mostly, Fender, my OH and kids much prefer homemade. I prefer the cheap version burger but I like mine with lots of salad.

I'm not actually much of a meat eater. I prefer cheap sausages but hate cheap bacon. If I'm on holiday though my breakfast would mainly be veggie.

Back to the story - 4 men in Northampton were fined £200 (I think) each for being in a car together saying they were going to McDonalds. McDonalds didn't open for another two hours though.

Luton Lad: Ohh, nice buns.
Scarborough Lass: Thanks, have you got a big sausage?
Manc Lad: Damn! - My pants are full of Mayo.
if you are out with kids, macdonalds is cheap and quick (and kids seem to think it's a treat!)
BK may well be flame grilled, but in my one at least it's flame grilled then microwaved

. . . and, unless you happen to be able to take advantage of one of their special offers, BK is ruddy expensive (when compared to McDonald's) too!

I wish you hadn't mentioned BK though. I think I might have to go in search of some of their lovely chilli cheese bites tomorrow ;-)
a McFlurry with topping of Maltesers at Penzance Long-Rock, apparently it was tasty and just 99p, considered it was a bargain. Personally, what happened to Jelbert's Cornish icec-ream and they serve brilliant 99s?
I've been to the one in Rovaniemi which at the time was the northernmost one in the world but now apparently there is one somewhere more northerly.
I've been to the one in Rovaniemi which at the time was the northernmost one in the world but now apparently there is one somewhere more northerly (Murmansk Russia).
