just checking, but if you burned it as a mp3 CD this could explain it (done it mysefl) - you need to use the "make an audio CD" option or however the software words it ,

thanks alunrw for the reply, it appears to be burned as .cda Further to what i said earlier it plays all tracks no problem in both my standalone dvd recorder and dvd playeras well as my pc! the software im using is nero soundtrax wizard which takes you through stage by stage from cassette to cd burning automatically. cant work out whats gone wrong this is a program that specifically states:-

The Nero SoundTrax wizards are automated processes, which allow you to carry out frequent tasks such as copying records or audio-cassettes onto CD quickly and easily. The wizard guides you through the individual steps in the process, from recording right through to burning the CD. Tracks are identified automatically and separated from one another. The wizard also automates the noise reduction feature from Nero Wave Editor and cleans up the recording automatically. This allows you to remove hissing, crackling, clicks and pops in a matter of seconds.

has anyone else had any problems burning cds with this program?
