Hands up anyone aged 80 or over who has been vaccinated & hands up anyone in that age group who has had their second jab?

Our area is still waiting for the vaccination programme to start.

We are both in our eighties, by the way.
take something warm
q of about 10 olds outside our centre all complaining for being made to wait outside

and the min has said that the centres shd maintain short lists of dossers and lay-abouts who can come in at short notice to make up for the no-shows
MGW - about 5 miles. Not my local surgery but I didn't really expect that.
MWG14, you're both in your 80's and have to travel 60 miles for the vaccine?
60miles? What region are you in?
I shut my computer down about an hour ago, went to vaccination place and here I am back again an hour later. Well organised and, because I wasn't driving (wife drove me) , I didn't have to wait 15 minutes afterwards. Appointment for second dose of Astra-Zeneca given. Terrific. Let's hope it's her turn soon.
Isnt the 60 mile s away option just an option- a way of getting it little bit quicker? Although if you live in the Hebrides or a remote Scottish hillside village its possibly the only option

We’re in South Lincolnshire & are going to Flitwick in Bedfordshire for our jabs.
