Having the firestick turning my TV into a Smart TV has been incredible. I enjoy many many documentaries and YouTube on the TV is ideal and I'm lucky in that most? of them have had subtitles. I haven't needed to tune into the others just yet.

Recommend it so much.

Jack - you just plug it into a HDMI port at the back of your TV - I did get my nephew to do it but after it is done you have options of looking at various apps. Mine is as I have said at the moment YouTube - I enjoy documentaries of which there are many - you know the olden days per se. Might encourage you to enjoy TV a bit more. Also my Firestick was £29.99. Worth every halfpenny. I have enough to watch via it so don't subscribe - no need to for me anyway.
It was offer just before Christmas, but now £39.99.

£29.99 in Argos still
The Firestick Lite is £29.99 in Argos and Amazon; the Firestick is £39.99 in both and the HD version is £49.99 in both
Sorry, the 4K version is £49.99 - they are all HD
Chris, would a firestick make a Vrgin Tivo box redundant?
^^^ No, Danny, because it doesn't have a recording function.
Maybe what danny means is that most programmes which he (or other people) recorded are available 'on demand' thru the stick?
it depends what you normally watch on your TiVo box I suppose
