I was reading the thread on Catholicism....

ANYWAY.... I see you both have family in Sligo..... from a gigantic Westlife fan like wee Tinkerbell here I always planned to go there one day... see if I can spot any of the boys LOL (Nicky being my fave I think he is a Dublin boy I may be wrong!)

When I was 16/17 my friends met guys on holiday in Santa Ponsa .... we went to visit them.... IN MEATH!

Wow ... I loved it but Im not sure they knew what hit them when a bus full of Weegie girls turned up - i asked the Londis lady where the Mcdonalds was and she had a right good laugh!!

Jeez. That's scary. Lots of gingers in my family. My daughters father is ginger. She has the skin of a ginger but just has blonde hair. She doesn't catch the sun at all. Two weeks in Spain and she back the same colour.

I go very brown like my granddad. I am quite wary of the sun though, I catch it too quickly. My sons are the same. My youngest catches the sun all year round just from walking from A to B.

My Dad had gorgeous auburn curls as a boy!

Often jokes his freckles just join up in the sun!

Hair is a lovely silvery white now!
I always loved being a red head. It was a deep dark red but now it’s gone blonde. I suppose I’ll have more fun now......or so they say....... ;-)
My OH has started to look blonde. I've aged him. He used to have orange hair :-) Saying that he didn't used to moan every time he stood up.
I try not to do the moaning when I stand up thing. I try to turn the grimace into a smile. Dave thinks I like him a lot.
He's going to find out now :-)
:-)
One just has to watch Daniel and Majella on their B&B trips to see the friendliness of the Irish in the West of Ireland. Second to none.
Not just the west, JJ. It's the whole of the republic....well Dublin can be iffy.
The only country I've been to that is close to Ireland for friendliness is Portugal......close but not quite.... :-)
