LOL, I only live a few miles from Bilston, Barsel. He's got a Wolvo accent, the Black country isn't very big but different area's of it have slightly different accents ( as I'm sure that different area' of Manc do ) . For gawds sake don't get our ( Black country accent ) mixed up with a Brummy accent, because quite a lot of people do.
Ha Ha I understand what you mean. Liverpool is just down the road really as is Wigan, but both accents very different from mine.
Being from Old Trafford as what I am !! you can imagine I'm quite posh really. :-)
Enjoyed our chat tonight Tony, didn't need the use of a translator once.
Off to bed now, goodnight and sleep tight. x

We spent a lovely hour watching Val Doonican on YouTube through our tv afterwards. The lovely Harry Secombe was singing with him at one point and it was a glorious hour :)
Just tried to watch the 1st episode, and gave up after 15mins. Not a titter! Give me still game any day.!
It was a good watch & over too soon. The script writer pushed Cathys character a bit far in her drunk roll I thought though, spoilt it for me. You just wouldn't put up with that behaviour friends of not. Yes I know, it's not real ;0)

I'm a huge fan of Still Game, too. Got every single episode on DVD and watch them at least once a year. I've been watching the repeats on tv, too.
