There is a strange attitude on here and in society, fortunately from just a minority, of how to get round the guidance and regulations. The dog one was tongue in cheek but maybe not as is in line with suggestions about getting round restrictions on meeting up by going for a coffee with a group, talking to one person for a few minutes then swopping and talking to someone else , or someone suggested making your house a place of business and then inviting friends round for work, ... theres been other barking mad ideas to from people who miss the point of all this

Yes it was. Though it was also designed to point out the stupidity of the legislation - you can take your dog for a haircut but cannot have one yourself.

I never mentioned meeting up by going for coffee with a group. I only referred to the two women who are the subject of that thread. That is, two women taking exercise together whilst holding a cup of coffee - nothing of which is contrary to the law. It seems you are stretching the description of events to fit a contravention of the legislation to the same degree as the police seem to be. It doesn't worry me too much when you do it but it does worry me when the police do so.
