Echo Dot Alexa Not Playing Bbc Radio Stations

hi recently installed echo dot . working well except can't get it to play
BBC radio stations . have followed online advice & definitely set to english language . for eg. radio 2 is in dutch !
should i be able to get BBC radio on this device ?

No idea, but is it running on a VPN that's telling everyone that you're located in the Netherlands ?

How do you tell it to play the radio, you have to say ‘play BBC Radio 2’ and it should then launch BBC Sounds (an awful app!) and then play the requested station, just tried it on mine and it works fine.

I ask her for BBC Radio 2 and it works. I have the Tunein app. though and it goes through there. It's a good app. I recommend it, the Pro version without adverts

Samuraisan, the BBC removed the ability to play their radio stations via Tunein on Alexa devices are you sure it's coming via Tunein and not the BBC Sounds skill.
OP, have you checked that you have the BBC Sounds skill on your Alexa account, check via your smartphone under skills & games, my skills
