I've just been notified that I've got a "donation" of 1,930,000 euros from someone who recently won the Powerball lottery.
I'm sure all I need do is give them my bank details...I'm so excited!

You were born under the lucky tree you were ;-)

I'll put a fiver in the post...;)
Jeez, pasta, thanks a lot for making this public. If you hadn't bit I was going to try elsewhere!
Awe thanks pasta . :-)
It could be a scam I'm afraid: send me your details so that I can check if it's legit or not and I'll then forward you the money once I've verified it :)
buy yourself some MPs!
Psst Pasta - can you send me £79.99 so I can pay the nice lady who keeps phoning me from Amazon, sure wouldn’t want her to get in any trouble because I haven’t paid her :(
thank you for posting this as I'm sure you will help me. I get phone calls from HMRC telling me there has been a mistake and I owe them several hundred pounds. Some money paid into my account would be most welcome.
Are you crazy?- That’s a very old scam!
DO NOT PASS ANY BANK DETAILS!!!
I got a call from those nice people who monitor your computer for errors and ring you when it malfunctions.
Even when I told them my laptop was as old as my head and not as old as my teeth they persisted - until they asked why I was laughing.
The lottery thing is genuine tho so congratulations :-)

Sorry I've not responded...I've been busy spending my new found wealth. Must be quick though, as I've heard there's a risk those nice people who donated this windfall might take it back...along with any other cash they can grab.

@Matt...did you take this seriously? No need to shout...honest ;)
erm. how are managing to spend it? you already have it? you're thinking what you could spend it on. right?

I'm buying Amazon...
;))

My lucky day too, I've just been emailed about a £600 tax rebate. A bit annoying they didn't get my name right, but ho-hum, £600 is £600.
^ not worth bothering to claim, i only go for the 10 million+ windfalls
Question Author
^^^ I did wonder why I wasn't getting more, as it was from a 390 million win. I'm feeling cheated now. :(
