nope
nope,,
I think it would be a good idea although how it would be implemented I'm not sure
bad enough getting an ordinary passport, who would adminster it?
I think there used to be 'papers' to show that you'd had injections for yellow fever, etc etc when you wanted to enter e.g. Brazil? Why can't you have your vaccination card stamped each time you have a jab?
It's becoming increasingly unlikely that they will be able to vaccinate a significant number of people any time soon due to bureaucratic inertia. They don't seem to have sussed out how to get enough bottles to put it in, the don't have enough people to administer it, they don't have enough venues to carry out the programme and they don't have a robust system of delivery to those centres. They have been offered help with most of those problems but have either flatly refused to consider those offers or are still thinking about it. I think the matter of a "passport" is somewhat a side issue.
and who is going to pay for it, administer said document, the government is struggling already in getting these vaccines rolled out that should be a no 1 priority. I know some have suggested already that we should have one so we can travel about, but would the bus driver have the time to check everyone's vaccine card. or on the tube, railways?
there were, Atheist - I still have my last one, though as far as I remember, nobody ever looked at it.

good points...total disarray like headless chickens, all tied up in red tape..thats self inflicted.
I hope not.
No. But Mr J2 has been given a signed, dated card to keep in his wallet to prove that he has been vaccinated.
Yes I reckon they will
Jourdain and those cards could be open to abuse
Perhaps not immediately tho... there’s too much chaos right now but once vaccines are done I suspect people will get notifications poss in the form of something like a barcode type thing (you know the square box that can be scanned nowadays with a phone)
I have still got mine too, it was kept along with my passport and everyone else's, by the Chief Steward on the ship and Port Health did expect to see them. They were cheap as chips to supply and administer but very foregeable. Anything less forgeable would be harder to administer and more expensive...also no one knows how long the vaccine will work for or whether it will be needed if you have had covid and recovered.
