It's a shame that these scammers and fraudsters don't put their obvious mental acuity towards more legal and legitimate schemes.
contrarily, the scammers and fraudsters that try to diddle me appear to be half wits . . .

sadly some are caught out by these half wits -
emmie - actually it's the half-wits who are caught out, not the spammers.
many seem to be elderly, and maybe confused, who knows, i wouldnt call them half wits by the way
women who get caught out by online fraudsters who profess love and then ask for money, some of these women have lost thousands, not sure how one doesn't guess that its a scam, and cut all ties. But it still goes on.
