Could understand it if it was dark, Bobbi. Can never get my head around setting fancy rocket-type fireworks off while there is still about a half hour's daylight.
Ahh bless, when house sitting for my Brother back in September, I've known their dog for years but never being around there when fireworks going off (No idea of occasion) he's far too big to be a lapdog but he was physically shaking and yes I let his front half lay on my lap.
Will look out our windows at 12.00 tonight and enjoy other people's fireworks FOC
Started round here at roughly the same time, flamin' nuisance !
That's strange, I haven't heard one yet. Perhaps they are saving them up for later. I really must get some decent ear-plugs. :-)
They didn't go on for long, thank goodness.
I saw them going off yesterday evening. Who knows why?
The more the merrier I say - as people can't go out , let them enjoy a little sparkle in their back garden.

Pity you're not within biting range of my dog.
Just started here in North London.....
Just started popping here but nothing to see in the sky yet, those are the ones I love.

I do feel for those who hate them and their nervous pets, ours loved them,
Nothing here yet...thankfully.
I knew I shouldn't have said anything...the booms have started.
Cleo seems ok...and Tubby is snoring under the sofa.
What's the betting there's even more tonight.
I heard some going off earlier today.
