guarantee success against the enemy.
Blackadder: Would this plan involve our men climbing out of the trenches and walking
slowly towards the enemy?
Melchitt: How could you possibly know that, Blackadder? This is TOP SECRET!

Thanks for the replies folks and the corrections. The handling of this pandemic by the govt has got to be Blackadder-esque hasn't it? For Johnson, read Haig. For Melchett read Hancock. For the public, read Baldric. (Not you Balders) But who is Blackadder? Any ideas?
