Hi does anyone have any details/ thoughts on getting Eurosport on a Samsung smart TV or through Amazon Prime?
I have downloaded the app on the TV but when I press 'open' all I am getting is a white screen, all other apps work fine but until I can open the app I am reluctant to pay the subscription to Eurosport.
Alternative is to get it through Amazon Prime TV, dearer I know but does it work well and how do you access the programmes - is there a guide somewhere?
I would be thrilled to have any feedback/ help/ ideas
Many thanks

The Eurosport app only runs on Samsung TVs that are using version 3.0 or higher of the Tizen operating system. Given that v3.0 was only released in May of 2017, and that it would probably have been several months before TVs using it reached retailers, that means that the Eurosport app won't run on any Samsung TV that's more than about 3 years old. You don't need to subscribe to Amazon Prime TV in order to access Eurosport Player. You simply need an Amazon Fire TV stick, enabling you to make a one-off purchase (and, of course, pay for your Eurosport subscription), rather than having to make ongoing payments to Amazon.

The basic ('Lite') version of the Amazon Fire TV stick costs £29.99

Buenchico that's a fabulously helpful answer, that count's out our TV as it's about 4 years old.
I have read a lot of negative press about Eurosport on a Firestick and although it grates paying Amazon £6.99 to have Eurosport on their Prime TV I can swallow it as I have just negotiated £25 a month off my BT package cos they can no longer supply what I want.
I need real ease of use for the system as it's for a complete technophobe and although I have a Firestick I rarely use it as it's a load of faff for me.
Would you have an thoughts on Eurosport via Prime apart from the cost?
You are indeed a buen chico!!
