Iphone Trouble

I have an iphone 6s but it keeps randomly locking itself. In settings it’s set to ‘never’ for auto lock but I thought that was when you were inactive on your screen. I’ve restarted my phone several times but that hasn’t fixed the issue as i thought it was some kind of glitch.
