Teacake has a point. The initial roll out has been very slow after all the hype.
In the first week they vaccinated 5,000 people a day.
At that pace it would take a year to jab less than 2 millon people.
We have ordered 300 million doses (for 150 million innoculations).
That would take 75 years (at 2 million a year) to use up.

So herd immunity should start to kick in sometime in 2095.

MIL is 83 one of the very vulnerable and no sign of it for her yet, wasn’t too concerned as was in tier 2 but now jumped to tier 4.
