I have a 2013 iPad mini 9.3.5 version. I want to clear everything on it before giving it away. However it is still loading emails up to date, has all my contacts and notes that I am using on my new iPad. I am a bit worried about deleting all these items on the old iPad, in case they disappear from my new iPad. They are both connected to my home WiFi. Sorry I am not very technical. My question is, can I clear all emails, contacts and notes from this old iPad and still have them kept on my new iPad? Hope this is clear! Thanks everyone.

As Zac says with his link although you should be able to 'marry' them up via Bluetooth and transfer everything on to your new iPad

I have everything on my new iPad apart from some Google photos. I just want to delete all the emails and notes from the old iPad but not the new one... is there an easier way?

I managed to delete all my contacts and they are still on the new iPad. I really don’t understand Bluetooth or iCloud ... sorry ...
Go to Settings on old iPad
Scroll down to General
Reset either to earlier or erase everything
Smurf, the emails aren't actually on your ipad, they're on your email account. Just follow the procedures on my initial link.
You could try to delete them first on the old iPad by resetting all settings. If you are afraid to lose them on your new iPad, don't worry, as there are professional iPhone data recovery programs like TunesKit iPhone Data Recovery to get lost or deleted data back even if you don't have a backup.
