the WORST thing about going into tier 3 is that they are not listing them in alphabetical order. Not geographical order. What order is being used?????? It's very annoying to a pedant like me

No it isn't. It's when your local figures are amongst the lowest in the country and the 'powers that be' lump you in with Hull and call you 'The Humber' when you are rural East Yorkshire. We are grouped with 9 other villages, q

for example, the BBC had them listed as Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Peterborough, surrey, Portsmouth and so on.

I just googled our area, and a couple of others, and it came up with the right answers..

i know what my area is in, i'm just greatly irked by the fact the BBC + Hancock announced them in the order they did - why? Not geographical, not alphabetical, why that order. #grrrr
