Khandro, my lovely, that's called 'humour' (or at least my attempt at it). You should try it sometime. Might make you less of a paranoid pessimist.

Zacs ; Poor attempt to wriggle out of the fact that you put your so-called humour in 'Religion & Spirituality', sorry but it's neither.
Khandro, don't be so stuffy. Humour is a profound part of the human psyche. I bet Jesus had a laugh from time to time, even though life was tough in those days.
I haven't wriggled out of anything, Khandro. My post's humorous intent was plain to see for anyone who doesn't spend their life with their head buried in obscure doom laden conspiracy theories.
Hey I don't do that, and I like a good laugh.

Yes I think it was & there's nothing at all wrong with humour per se, I love it, but can you explain the real reason why you placed that bit of it in 'Religion & Spirituality', instead of 'Jokes' or even 'Chatterbank' ?
Hey Khandro what's the beef with the Google Doodle? It's quite correctly stating to the many millions of eyeballs that hit it per day that lots of different groups have celebrations in December. Upon clicking Christmas gets top billing, surely educational for those cultures that have never heard of it?

I'm sure the Christian search engine had JC every day on there but doesn't get as much traffic for some reason.
We've gone a bit off topic.
‘nothing at all wrong with humour per se, I love it, but can you explain the real reason why you placed that bit of it in Religion & Spirituality’

It makes as much sense as most other stuff in there.

But do you ever ask questions of yourself about existence etc?
Or just laugh at people who do?
Of course I do. I wake up every morning and think, wow, we’re on our very own spaceship hurtling thru the universe at 67,000 mph and we’re all made of stars.
I always suspected that :-)
