Without a transplant, deteriorating health, loss of alertness, coma and death.

Time scale?
They die within a week.
I am reluctant to post a link as they are somewhat frowned on , suffice to say if the Medics and Family have decided to withdraw treatment then the end usually follows quite soon.

Thank you. A friend's husband has just had his dialysis withdrawn.

Sqad, you were spot on. Friend’s husband died after exactly a week after dialysis was stopped.
