My monthly supply of pills from Boots comes in a bag stated to be made from potato starch. While I'm glad that it's not plastic I'm a bit uneasy about food being used lik=e this. Any comments please?

A factory in Bangalore pays local farmers over the odds for the potatoes to make the starch. Would be interested to know what happens elsewhere
