I'm not sure they can be classed as late if they say you should receive it by December 23...

Perhaps they issue in a different order each year so the same ones dont always get theres first

I don't know about others here, Bob, but I've always had mine 22/23 November. That's the past 7-8 years.

gingejbee, I asked Google where my winter fuel payment was and got 427,000 answers in 0.8 seconds (all wrong). I don't see why the government shouldn't borrow Google's computers and get it all done in a couple of hours.

jno...if you knew much about the Government's computer systems, you'd be surprised that they got paid before Easter!

I think we all know that already. But if something is not going into an account at the time it normally does, maybe we are entitled to be concerned...?
