Just listened to Harry Belafonte sing Mary's Boy Child on the radio. Didn't realise he was still alive and kicking at 93. Wonderful voice.

Nope, Mel C was married to Stephen who said his surname was Belafonte, but it wasn't. Mary's Boy Child one of my favourite Christmas songs.

I'd no idea he was still alive either, that used to be one of my favourite Christmas songs growing up. I was also amazed that Chuck Yaegar only died this week, the advent of supersonic flight seems to be so very long ago.
